The Roadster Factory sold no TR6 engine mounts this year until May.. The reason
for this is that our source for high-quality mounts in England dried up without warning,
and we have spent months in researching and manufacturing our own mounts to uprated
specification. WE now manufacture all of the mounts listed in this section, and the later
TR6 rear mount will be available within two months. If you've had trouble with cheap mounts, buy
ours. The cost a little more, but they won't sag. You have my word on that...

"Heat Shields May Make Your Car Run Better This Summer"
TRF had a very good experience at this year's VTR Convention in Dallas
in July, and we sold lots of parts there, but I was surprised that we sold only
one carburettor heat shield. Outside temperatures reached almost 110 degrees
during one day of the show. Just think how hot it must have been under the
bonnets of Triumphs on that day. I'll bet the fuel in the float chambers was
percolating like an old time coffee pot in a railroad yard machine shop. You
experience this phenomenon when you restart you car after leaving it sit for
only a few minutes on a hot day. As you know, you have to rev your engine a
little to get cooler fuel flowing through your carbs. If you experience fuel
percolation at other times, you can benefit from a heat shield to keep manifold
heat off your carbs.
