This TRF kit dates from the early 1980's when I
purchased a much used TR250 which eventually
became my One Lap of America rallye car. When I
was driving the car home, I noticed that the steering
column wobbled up and down and side to side.
Disconcerting! Well, it didn't take me long to figure
out that the felts mounting the steering column had
deteriorated and that the inner column bushes were
also shot. I spent a Saturday afternoon working
under the dash and through the holes available by
removing the speedo and tach. I cleaned everything
up, painted the outer column tube, and collected parts
over the next week, and then on Saturday, I put
everything back in place to great effect, a solid
steering column. I am going to list the wobble kit
and a few related parts in this section.
