THE UNION JACK
The Union Jack is the flag of the United Kingdom, England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, and the Union Jack is a
composite of the flags of each of the three individual countries. The old English flag contains only the red cross of St.
George on a white field. The flag of Scotland contains the white X-cross of St. Andrew on a blue field. And, the flag of
Northern Ireland has a red X-cross of St. Patrick on a white field.
The Union Jack is a striking design loved by all anglophiles the world over, and it is used to decorate everything
from clothing to buildings to airplanes to automobiles, toilet seats, underwear, and tennis shoes. When the Union Jack
design is put on underwear or mini-skirts, it is done out of love rather than out of mockery. The Union Jack is also used
in the logos of many enterprises, including The Roadster Factory...

During the summer, Albert had the chance to purchase some Union Jack items from a company that went
out of business. In the crate which arrived from this purchase, we did not receive some of what we ordered,
and we received some things that we did not order. We chose some of these items to list in our Christmas
catalogue, but I did not have time to write about the others. In addition to the items purchased this summer,
we also had ones and twos of various items from other years. We store these carefully in plastic bags out of
the sunlight, and they remain in perfect condition.
